Steven Edward Snyder

Steven Edward Snyder, age 32, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, April 13, 2024, in his home.  Steve was born in Toledo on October 31, 1991, to Gregory and Valinda (Siewert) Snyder.  He was a graduate of St. John the Baptist Catholic Grade School and Central Catholic High School, class of 2010.  While at CCHS, Steve played both basketball and baseball, and received a varsity letter as a member of the golf team.  Over the years, he became an avid golfer who enjoyed spending his Sundays playing with his dad, Greg.  Steve’s places of employment include TRC working security, Mistras Group Inc. as a level 1 technician, and Shaw Pipeline Services as a level 1 technician for 4 years.  When he wasn’t working or playing golf, Steve enjoyed cheering on The Ohio State Buckeyes, Cleveland Guardians, or Chase Elliot of NASCAR.  Steve was a wonderful son, brother, uncle, and friend, who will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Steve was preceded in death by his loving mother, Valinda, in October of 2004.  He is survived by his father, Gregory Snyder; sister, Christine (Dewayne) Roseboom; niece, Avie; nephews, Zeke and Bo; dear friends, the Rogers and Sanchez families; many other family members; and canine companions, Chief and Kash.

Visitation will be Friday, April 19, from 3-8 p.m. and Saturday, April 20, from 9-10:30 a.m. in Sujkowski Funeral Home Northpointe, 114 E. Alexis Rd. The Funeral Service will begin at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday in the funeral home with Deacon James Dudley presiding.  Interment will follow in Toledo Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the family to help offset funeral expenses will be gratefully accepted..
